Déjà vu

Working within the mediums of photography and video my practice explores the application of processes to create abstract compositions. By utilising chance procedures the forms created become void of preconceptions, thus becoming a vehicle for an exploration of colour and the contemplation of coincidence.

The considered combinations of colour and form aim to provoke a sensory response with the abstract presentation of these elements allowing for open interpretation of the work, beyond its visual limits.

Recent video work explores arbitrary structuring of predetermined colours, sounds and lengths of time to create an intense, engaging experience.
