In her most resent work, Livonia has been looking at ways in which to represent a subconscious state of mind in a visual aspect. The absent minded manipulation of a ticket, say as you are waiting for the train or at some other moment of where there is little to do, is delightfully evoked in these simple images. Like 3 dimensional doodles.

As part of this body of work, Livonia has also been experimenting with a variety of methods of image making, including pinhole photography. The raw aesthetic created by this most basic form of capturing an image lends itself to notions of memory and dreams.
