Clare Nash is a portrait and documentary photographer. She is interested in the idea of youth and culture. She is also concerned with looking at the real and the contrived and how the lines are blurred. Her style is raw and intimate, this is why she likes using friends and family as models and subjects. She has worked for Universal Record Label doing photography for Kate Nash’s album and singles, as well as shooting Kate’s recent press shots. She is also documenting Kate using photography and film, which is on-going. She documented the Underage Festival in Victoria Park (2007), the images were used on the Phamous 69 website, and has just completed a tour photo diary feature on Kate Nash for Clash Music Magazine. She lives and works in London.
