Anna Fox

Co-Director Fotofolios

Anna Fox is Professor of Photography at University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. She has been working as a photographer since 1983, her work has been exhibited and published worldwide. Her solo shows have been seen at: The Photographer’s Gallery, London; The Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago; Ffotogallery, Cardiff and her work has been included in numerous international group shows including Through the Looking Glass, Documentary Dilemmas and New Natural History. She has had several monographs of her work published and the first retrospective show of her work, Cockroach Diary and other Stories, opened at Impressions Gallery in summer 2008. Anna’s work has been shown in From Tarzan to Rambo at Tate Modern; Centre of the Creative Universe: Liverpool and the Avant Garde at Tate Liverpool and How We Are: Photographing Britain at Tate Britain.

Anna Fox is co-editor of Langfords Basic Photography (8th and 9th edition) and has co-written, with Dr Deepak John Mathews, the first Masters level photography course in India for the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.

Sveinung Skaalnes

Sveinung Skaalnes is a multidisciplined creative, always looking for new challenges; collaborations, projects and ideas.

Having spent five years working in London within photography and fashion, as a photographer, editorial writer and producer, and as a lecturer on creative processes and methods - he's still a chilled norwegian with a lot of pep and a finger on the pulse.

He is a graduate of the Interactive Art Director program at Hyper Island and a proud citizen of Cloudania

He is currently based in Amsterdam - as a Creative Producer at Perfect Fools. 

 

Maria Kapajeva

Before moving to the UK for photography education, Maria got her Economics Degree at Tartu University (Estonia) and worked in Marketing area several years. Her passion of photography brought her to Farnham where she recently graduated from UCA BA Photography course.

Her works has been exhibited in different cities of UK including London, Nottingham and Brighton. She works on several projects which focuses on cultural differences, migration and new vision of old traditions. Maria is going to have her first solo show in November 2009 in Estonia.
